Can I buy Silver or Gold directly?
No. You cannot self-attest or buy Silver or Gold as a self-serve upgrade. They are earned outcomes reviewed under the applicable Legacy Core credential standard.
Do I need Bronze first?
Yes. Bronze is the baseline readiness credential. Silver and Gold build on a live Bronze listing.
What evidence is required?
Higher credential tiers may require evidence demonstrating implemented cybersecurity practices and continued readiness. Exact requirements vary by credential tier and business environment. See the Evidence page for the public categories.
Do I have to hire an Alliance Partner to earn Silver or Gold?
No. You may choose implementation providers freely, and buying implementation services is not required. Silver and Gold implementation evidence must be submitted through a verified, approved Alliance Partner company assigned to the business. An authorized Legacy Core human reviewer must accept the evidence and approve the credential. Partners cannot award credentials. Buying implementation work does not issue the badge.
